Hey everyone! I have recently plunged into the photography world. I've always liked photography but never really had the time to learn how to use the camera properly.
So to start off, i needed a somewhat professional camera, well more professional than a point and shoot (your regular digital cameras) camera anyway. So I bought the Nikon D60 with a 18-55mm VR Nikkor lens as seen of the left. I bought it on eBay totaling to AU$800 which included a lot of stuff! I don't know too much about cameras but i did an extensive research on dSLR's and made an inform decision. I recommend everyone who's about to enter the dSLR world to do a lot of research. These days there are tonnes of entry-level dSLR's so, check them all out first before buying!
Here is a good camera related review website. DPREVIEW.COM
Here is their very in-depth review on D60
So this is where I'll be posting my experiments. Keep in mind I still have no idea on profesional photography, so don't expect too much of me. I am taking a photography class at uni next semester so that will help a lot. That's it for now, Comments and Critiques are definitely welcomed. Tips are also highly encouraged.
